Key Characteristics & Uses: Composition: Contains ~5% Silicon (Si), with "ER" denoting it's an Electrode/Rod. Performance: High fluidity, good wetting action, less crack-sensitive, bright weld beads. Applications: Bicycles, trailers, automotive parts, furniture, and welding various 6xxx series aluminum. Compatibility: Welds 2014, 3003, 3004, 5052, 6060, 6061, 6063, 6101, and cast alloys. Process: Used for both MIG (DC+) and TIG (AC) welding with Argon shielding. Drawback: Welds may appear dull or grey after anodizing, unlike some other fillers.
