A puff machine is nothing but a multi-purpose instrument used for producing various cereal grains based consumables like puffed rice, health mix products, rice flakes etc.Mini puff snack machine is widely used to process corn, rice, sorghum and other cereals, and it can produce final puffed food in three shapes including hollow bar, peanut shape, and solid bar.Puffcorn, much like other puffed products such as cereals and crispbreads are processed by Extrusion cooking through an extruder. This is a thermodynamic process where the dough is passed through a tube and heated under a certain amount of pressure.An auger pushes the mixture through a die as it is exposed to high pressure. This develops the proper temperature to change the moisture in the cornmeal paste into steam, creating air cells in the collette, and puffs the corn.A puff is a wisp of air or a baked snack. A magician might disappear in a puff of smoke — the kind that happens when you blow out a candle, not the kind that's made of cheese. A puff of wind can spin a pinwheel or send a kite bobbing higher in the sky, and a tired runner's breath comes in puffs.Extruding corn is a fairly simple process. Ground corn is processed through a uniquely designed high-shear extruder. Once it exits the cooking barrel it will enter a cutterhead to cut the corn into smaller discs or puffs. Then the extruded corn is ready for cooling and transport to the storage area.Steam is injected to start the cooking process, and the preconditioned mix (extrudate) is then passed through an extruder. The extruder is a large, rotating screw tightly fitting within a stationary barrel, at the end of which is the die. The extruder's rotating screw forces the extrudate towards and through the die.Puffcorn, much like other puffed products such as cereals and crispbreads are processed by extrusion cooking through an extruder. This is a thermodynamic process where the dough is passed through a tube and heated under a certain amount of pressure.Generally, a PUF's performance is measured by its level of robustness (stability over time), uniqueness (no two PUFs are the same), ease of evaluation (to be feasibly implemented), difficulty to replicate (so the PUF cannot be copied), and difficulty to predict/randomness (so the responses cannot be guessed).
