Skyhatch PLANEA CTD26 is a premium 450x450 mm aluminium ceiling access panel designed for clean, safe and repeatable access above false ceilings. This standard-size, single-shutter ceiling trap door is ideal for modern offices, homes, hospitals, hotels, retail stores, institutional buildings and commercial interiors. Unlike fabricated wooden ceiling trap doors or low-grade modular access panels that can warp, sag, misalign or deteriorate over time, PLANEA uses a precision-engineered 6063 T6 aluminium alloy frame for long-term durability, alignment and a refined architectural finish. Its minimal shadow groove creates a neat, near-flush appearance that blends well with gypsum and lightweight false-ceiling systems. The 450x450 mm ceiling inspection hatch provides convenient maintenance access to concealed services such as HVAC units, AC ducting, plumbing lines, electrical junction boxes, fire pipes and valves, sprinkler systems, smoke detectors and ceiling service points. The hinged single shutter operates through a convenient push-lock mechanism, with an optional Allen lock for controlled service access.
