Product Details
An S-type tension load cell is a specific type of load cell designed primarily for measuring tension (pulling force) in industrial applications. It gets its name from the distinctive S-shape of its body, which is designed to withstand tensile loads and provide accurate force measurements. Structure and Design: S-Shape: The load cell has an "S" shape, which allows it to be easily integrated into applications where the load needs to be pulled or tensioned. The two ends of the "S" are often designed to be connected to hooks, shackles, or other components that facilitate the measurement of tensile forces. Strain Gauges: As with other load cells, the S-type tension load cell uses strain gauges bonded to the structure of the cell. When a force is applied, the load cell deforms slightly, and the strain gauges detect this deformation. The strain gauges convert the mechanical strain into an electrical signal, which is then processed to determine the applied force. Material: S-type load cells are usually made of high-quality materials such as stainless steel or aluminum, which offer strength, corrosion resistance, and durability under harsh industrial conditions.
