Description
It is a type of heat transfer equipment used to transfer excessive heat from the application and prevent the application from overheating. This product is generally used in locomotive engine and as well as industrial application.An oil cooler is a separate, smaller radiator to an engine's main radiator, which maintains an oil supply at a consistent, optimal temperature. Its purpose is to cool the oil passing through the coils, thus improving the engine and the transmission's lifetime. They are situated in front of an engine's cooling system.In passenger cars, the oil cooler is made by aluminium brazed with aluminium-brazing filler metals. Most oil coolers used in heavy commercial vehicles (HCV) are made of stainless steel. Here, the most common method is to braze the component with a copper foil.
