Amla (Emblica officinalis), also known as Indian gooseberry, is a highly nutritious fruit widely used in food processing, pharmaceuticals, Ayurvedic medicine, and cosmetics. The fruit has a hard seed (stone) at its center, which must be removed before further processing, especially in the preparation of candy, juice, powder, and pickles.
Traditionally, seed removal was done manually, which is labor-intensive, time-consuming, and inefficient for large-scale operations. To address this challenge, theAmla Seed Removing Machinehas been developed to mechanize the seed extraction process, significantly enhancing productivity and hygiene.
Purpose and Importance
The Amla Seed Removing Machine is designed to:

Working Principle
The machine operates based on amechanical cutting and pressing mechanism. Amla fruits are fed into the hopper, where they are positioned for cutting. The key components work in coordination to extract the seed with minimal damage to the pulp.
Feeding Mechanism: A hopper or tray feeds Amla fruits into the machine either manually or through a conveyor belt.
Cutting or Slitting Mechanism: The fruits are cut or slit partially by rotating blades or knives to facilitate seed removal.
Pressing/Crushing Mechanism: The cut fruits are then pressed so that the seed is separated from the pulp. Some machines use rollers or plunger systems to achieve this.
Seed and Pulp Separation Unit: The seed and pulp are separated via mesh screens or centrifugal force. Seeds are collected separately, and the pulp is discharged for further processing.
