Key Characteristics & Uses Material: It is a nickel-copper alloy filler metal used for welding similar alloys. Welding Processes: Suitable for MIG, TIG, and oxy-fuel welding. Application: Its excellent seawater corrosion resistance makes it ideal for shipbuilding, offshore platforms, and desalination plants. Corrosion Resistance: Offers high corrosion resistance, especially in marine and corrosive environments. Steel Overlay: Can be used to overlay carbon steel, but requires a prior nickel alloy (ERNi-1) barrier layer to prevent issues.
