Pizza oven double deck are commonly used for the purpose of heating, baking, grilling or drying of different food items in various canteens and food courts. Double deck ovens are general purpose and can be used to bake a wide range of food items.Also called “hearth deck ovens”, stone deck ovens are defined by their stone-lined ceilings and their use of a hot pizza stone or deck. This pizza stone could be made out of stone or ceramic, and come in different thicknesses.In pizza operations, deck ovens provide results similar to wood-fired ovens when creating traditional thin crust pies. After about an hour of preheating, these units' decks, where staff place the pizzas to cook, can maintain temperatures as high as 700 degrees F using either gas or electricity.
