An Electric Kadai (also spelled kadhai) is a modern kitchen appliance designed to simplify traditional Indian cooking. Unlike the conventional kadai which is used on gas stoves, the electric kadai operates using electricity and comes with advanced features such as temperature control, non-stick coating, and automatic shut-off, making it safer and more convenient to use.
The electric kadai works on the principle of resistive heating. When electricity passes through the heating element (usually a coil), it encounters resistance, which generates heat. This heat is transferred to the base and sides of the inner pot, evenly cooking the food.
