This super hot laser is condensed down to a narrow beam and is used to cut through metals of various thicknesses, A fiber laser is a type of solid-state laser that uses an optical fiber as a gain medium. The core in the center of the fiber is doped with a rare-earth element, Yb (ytterbium), and has the highest refractive index. A 1.1 μm Laser light and Pump light propagate in this Yb-doped center core.A CNC laser cutter is a piece of computer numerical control (CNC) equipment that uses a focused, high-powered laser beam to mark, cut, or engrave a material to form custom shapes. Its unique design and operation make it highly accurate, especially when cutting intricate shapes and small holes.Laser cutting is a type of thermal separation process. The laser beam hits the surface of the material and heats it so strongly that it melts or completely vaporizes.
