The valve contains a movable element, such as a diaphragm or piston, that reacts to changes in the flow rate or pressure of the fluid. When the fluid pressure increases or decreases, the movable element moves and adjusts the size of the orifice or port, which in turn regulates the flow rate of the fluid.
