GI earthing electrode helps to conduct fault current safely to the ground and protect people from current shock due to lightning. In GI earthing electrode, Galvanized Iron prepares by depositing a film of zinc over iron through a process called galvanization. It is corrosion resistant.GI Earthing Electrode provide a low-impedance ground in locations of high soil resistivity. Together with Reslow Grounding Minerals, the system dissipates lightning energy and other dangerous electrical fault currents, even in sandy or rocky soil conditions.The performance in the grounding of galvanized steel is better than the copper rod as the galvanized steel serve a low impedance path for current from rod to ground. Moreover, galvanized steel has a protective layer of zinc to prevent any corrosion from occurred.
