An H-frame press, also known as a shop press or hydraulic shop press, is a machine tool used for various applications such as bending, straightening, punching, pressing, and forming metal or other materials. a machine in which great force with slow motion is communicated to a large plunger by means of liquid force into the cylinder in which it moves by a piston pump of small diameter to which the power is applied. called also Bramah press, hydrostatic press.A hydraulic press is a device used to press out materials, aiding facilities in fabrication, assembly and maintenance. It employs pressure generated by a pump to push a steel cylinder into a material at a set force.The hydraulic press works by pressing a small amount of force onto the Plunger which presses the fluid below. This pressure is then distributed evenly which in turn raises the Ram. The pressure between the Plunger and the Ram then works to crush the item placed between them.
