What are incense sticks? Incense sticks are aromatic biotic materials that allow a fragrant smoke to fill a room when burned. Agarbatti or Incense is an aromatic material that releases fragrant smoke when burned. The fragrance is meant to calm your nerves and bring peace within your home and people. For example: If there are a lot of tiffs/arguments going on in a house, the best advice to do is burn an incense stick and then see the magic!Sandalwood, patchouli, agar wood, and vetiver are harvested and ground using a large mortar and pestle. Water is added to make a paste, a little saltpetre (potassium nitrate) is mixed in to help the material burn uniformly, and the mix is processed in some form to be sold for burning.If this wasn't enough, fumes of agarbatti contains hazardous particulates and volatile that pose grave health risks.
