The MAXPRO200® LongLife® plasma cutting system is engineered for heavy-duty, high capacity automated and handheld cutting and gouging applications. The easy-to-use system operates with either air, oxygen, or nitrogen plasma gas, and combAlso called a thermal cutting method, Plasma Cutting Machine can cut metals which are good conductors of electricity. This is done through an accelerated jet of hot plasma instead of mechanically cutting it. This is achieved by compressed air or other gases, depending on the material to be cut.This process utilizes two gases; one for the plasma and one as a shield gas. In smaller systems (under 125 amps), compressed air is often used as both the plasma and shield gases. Dual gas unshielded systems have an exposed nozzle and should not be used for drag cutting.
