Frozen yogurt is a frozen product containing the same basic ingredients as ice cream, but contains live bacterial cultures.Frozen yoghurt has an ice cream-like texture with a yoghurt flavor. The temperature used during freezing varies from − 6 to − 25 °C.Americans love their frozen desserts, with ice cream usually reigning supreme. But within the past few decades, another option has emerged from icy dessert depths: frozen yogurt. This sweet treat is often touted as a more health-conscious option thanks to its lower sugar, fat, and carbohydrate content.Rich creamy taste and texture are replaced with a more slushy, ice cream-like texture in fat-free frozen yogurt. As far as sugar is concerned, ice cream often has up to three times more sugar than frozen yogurt.
