Product Details
Atilting type masala mixing/coatingmachine is a machine used in the snack (namkeen) manufacturing process to mix spices/maslas with the snack item evenly, or coat fried/dried snack pieces with flavourings. Thetiltingfeature refers to the drum or bowl that can be tilted for easy discharge of product, cleaning, maintenance, etc.
It is especially useful when you have to:
Mix dry masala powders uniformly with snack pieces (sevs, mixtures, gathiya, etc.)
Coat with flavour + optional oil sprays
Batch process (not continuous)
Reduce manual labour and ensure consistency
Working Principle
Snack pieces (fried or dry) are loaded into the mixing bowl/drum.
Masala/spice powder (and optionally flavouring/oil spray) is added.
The drum rotates (or has internal agitators/paddles/ribbon/ U-shaped paddles) so that the snacks move, tumble, and get uniform contact with masala.
The tilting mechanism allows the drum or bowl to be tilted (manually or hydraulically) so that the mixed product can be discharged easily without too much labor, and the bowl can be cleaned well.
Sometimes there may be additional features: drip pans, spray nozzles for oil/flavour, variable speeds, timing, etc.
