Solar energy heats a fluid that provides heat to the generator of an absorption chiller and is recirculated back to the collectors. The chilled water produced is used for large commercial and industrial cooling.These conditioners function similarly to standard air conditioners, except they offer additional energy options. A typical air conditioner is exclusively driven by grid energy, solar air conditioners offer three power options: solar power, solar battery bank, and network electricity.There are primarily two types of Solar Air Conditioning systems, namely Thermal Work Driven systems and Electric Photovoltaic cell-driven systems. The thermal work-driven systems are based on thermodynamic processes in which heat energy absorbed from the sun is utilized.
