Key Characteristics: Composition:A nickel-based alloy with significant chromium and molybdenum content, and also iron, according to the Pinnacle Alloys datasheet. Applications: Welding: Used for joining nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloys (like UNS N06617), heat-resistant austenite steels, and cast steels. High-Temperature Service: Suited for components exposed to high temperatures (up to 2100°F or ~1150°C) and corrosive environments. Industries: Found in aircraft and land-based gas turbines (ducts, combustion cans), catalyst-grid chains in nitric acid production, heat-treating baskets, and nuclear and fossil fuel power plants
