PP FRP (inner:Polypropylene, outer: Fibreglass reinforce plastic) PP(Polypropylene), also known as polypropylene, is a thermoplastic polymer possesses a good balance of properties that can be tailored to a wide range of production processes and applications in chemical process.Fibre reinforced plastic (FRP), is a somersetting plastic strengthened with fibre strand and/or fabric reinforcements to provide a strong, corrosion resistant matrix.For liquids that freeze, a tracing of the tank with heating tape or the addition of a heater is used. In case of storage of hot products (up to 55°C), we recommend the use of Polypropylene (PPH) tanks.The strength degradation of FRP is caused by diffusion of HCl into the FRP. The lifetime of FRP for HCl storage is 15–20 years.Abrasives behaviour FRP is available in abrasive version to pump abrasive fluids. PP is not adequate for abrasive fluids. Chemical resistance FRP cover a wider range of fluid that can be pumped without its chemical deterioration. PP can pump a limited number of aggressive fluids.
