Product Details
Roller dies (or rotary bending dies) are specialized press brake bottom tools that use rotating inserts instead of a fixed V-opening. As the punch descends, the rollers pivot to support the material, significantly reducing friction and marking.Key Benefits of Roller Dies Mark-Free Bending: Since the material rolls over the supports rather than sliding across sharp die shoulders, it eliminates the "die lines" or scratches common with standard V-dies. This is essential for stainless steel, aluminum, and pre-painted materials. Short Flange Bending: Because the rollers support the material closer to the bend center, you can successfully bend much shorter flanges than on a standard V-die without the part falling into the opening. Bending Near Holes: The rolling action prevents the material from pulling and deforming holes or cutouts that are located close to the bend line.
