Slow Speed Bread Slicer is a kitchen tool used for quickly and uniformly slicing bread loaves. The majority of slicers are industrial-sized, and are used in bakeries.A kitchen utensil that assists with the uniform cutting of bread slices from whole loaves of bread.The slicer works based on a gravity-feed system where the weight of the loaves in the slicer puts pressure on the blades. The feed chute can hold between five and seven identical loaves. They hold the loaves in place to ensure that each one is cut cleanly and precisely.They point out that it doesn't have to be very powerful to slice bread; it's only about 0.5 horsepower, and Kat points out it's unlikely to have the power necessary to cut through meat and bone.
