These tanks can either be underground or aboveground, depending on the chemical that they are handling.A storage tank is a large vessel for storing oil, gas, and other petrochemical products. From here, the oil is transported to a storage tank where it is kept until needed.Storage tanks serve two major purposes. One is to provide storage volume and the other is to provide pressure to the distribution system.
