PERFECT Melt flow index tester is used to calculate the MFI/MFR, which is defined as the rate of flow in grams per ten minutes of extradite of molten resins through a jet of a specified length and diameter under prescribed conditions of temperature & load. Relative Standard: ASTM D 1238 Technical specifications: · Temperature Range: Ambient to 400 º C (PID control). · Temperature Accuracy: ±0.5ºC. · Least count: 0.1 ºC. · Test timer: upto 999 seconds. · In-built weighing system for direct calculation of MFR (Melt flow rate). · Weighing capacity & least count: 100 grams/0.01 grams. · Diameter of heater tube cavity: 9.55 mm. · Dimensions of piston head: 9.47 mm Diameter X 6.35 mm Length. · Dimensions of jets holes: 2.095 mm X 8.00 mm Long. · Weights: 0.325Kg, 1.050 Kg, 2.160 Kg, 5.0 Kg (other on request). · Auto sample cutting model & in-built hopper. · All accessories are included i.e. die cleaning tool, barrel cleaning tool. · Computerised interface will allow user MFI/MFR directly. · Company name, batch no., date & time, test no., operator name will be indicated in the report generated through computerised system. · Email/Print test reports generated through dedicated software and all test reports saved automatically in the system memory. Instrument can be operated completely through the dedicated software.
