The UV Treatment System For Water is designed for the disinfection and purification of water, ensuring the effective removal of harmful microorganisms. A mercury vapour lamp sits inside a polished stainless chamber - water enters one end, spirals past the lamp plus leaves the other end disinfected. The lamp sits behind a quartz sleeve so water never touches the electrodes, while an opaque shield stops stray UV from escaping. If the lamp fails, an electronic relay sounds an alarm and the control panel flashes red - staff know right away. The unit ships complete, needs no extra parts but also starts work as soon as the operator connects inlet and outlet pipes. One person opens a valve, checks the pressure gauge as well as walks away - the lamp keeps burning for eight thousand hours before replacement. Stainless walls, rubber seals and a powder coated frame resist corrosion or support years of daily service.
