1. General Type: Reinforced Cement Concrete (RCC), in-situ cast pool Application: Residential / Farmhouse use Standards: IS 456:2000, IS 3370 (Liquid Retaining Structures) Design Life: 30–40 years 2. Site Work & Excavation Excavation to approved depth, sides trimmed, bottom compacted. Base Preparation: 100 mm sand layer OR 75–100 mm Plain Cement Concrete (M10, 1:4:8) 3. RCC Structure Concrete Grade: M25 with waterproofing admixture. Raft Slab (Base): Thickness: 200–250 mm Reinforcement: Double mesh (10–12 mm @ 150 mm c/c both ways) Walls: Thickness: 150–200 mm Reinforcement: Vertical & horizontal bars (10–12 mm @ 150–200 mm c/c) Coping Beam: RCC coping provided at top for stability. Water Stops: PVC water bars (150–230 mm wide) at all slab-wall and wall-wall joints. 4. Waterproofing Integral Waterproofing: Admixture mixed in RCC (Fosroc, Sika, CICO, etc.) Surface Waterproofing: Cementitious waterproof slurry (2–3 coats) OR PU liquid membrane for premium pools Leakage Test: Hydrostatic test – pool filled with water for 7 days before finishes. 5. Internal Finishes Plastering: 15–20 mm thick cement-sand plaster (1:4) with waterproofing compound. Tiling: Glass mosaic tiles (20×20 mm, 4 mm thick) OR Anti-skid ceramic pool tiles. Grouting: Epoxy-based, water-resistant grout. Steps/Benches: Integrated RCC steps or benches with tile finish.
