DESCRIPTION: CS HTXX-2 220 HD is premium high performance advanced heavy duty grease specially designed for high shock loads and heavy vibrations carrying capacity with water resistance technology particularly well suited to meet the demanding lubrication requirements of steel mill equipments like continuous casting machine (CCM), block slab casters, hot & cold rolling mills bearings etc. CS HTXX-2 220 HD is formulated with quality synergistic (semi-synthetic) base oil stocks advanced calcium sulfonate complex thickener. The calcium sulfonate complex thickener carries both inherent rust protection and extreme pressure (EP) additive properties with corrosion inhibitors exhibit great stability in the presence of water, allowing a balance between wear protection and resistance to corrosion. CS HTXX-2 220 HD grease technology for better high load carrying, extreme temperature properties along with compatible friction modifier additives such as Mox-Active & synthetic (PAO) Ester creates a passive film on friction surfaces before friction occurs, an extremely low coefficient of friction even under extreme pressures. Compared to conventional soap-base thickeners (i.e. lithium, aluminum, calcium soaps), the calcium sulfonate thickener used in CS HTXX-2 220 HD excels in water saturated environments, providing rust protection between long re-lubrication intervals. CS HTXX-2 220 HD grease provide a balanced combination of water washout and water spray-off resistance, as well as excellent corrosion protection, in these severely wet environments. The calcium sulfonate thickeners used are also able to maintain their consistency and EP protection characteristics even with high levels of water contamination.
