A duct aspiration channel is used in a flour mill to separate light impurities from wheat using controlled airflow. It is a critical part of the cleaning section before milling.
- Removal of Light Impurities: It removes dust, husk, chaff, straw particles (These impurities cannot be removed effectively by sieves alone.).
- Improves Wheat Cleaning Efficiency: By combining air separation with gravity, the duct aspiration channel ensures cleaner wheat enters the milling or chakki section, improving overall plant performance.
- Protects Milling Machinery: Removing dust and lightweight foreign matter thus reduces wear on Roller Mills / Chakki stones.
- Reduces Dust Load in the Plant: It helps maintain a dust-free, hygienic environment.
