Air injection process uses oxygen to convert the solid, undissolved contaminants to particles that can be filtered by a granular media. Iron removal systems are an effective, affordable way to filter out iron, sulfur, manganese, and other insoluble contaminants.The Iron Removal Filters are designed to remove the Excess Iron content present in the feed water with minimum pressure drop. Most iron filtration systems operate on the principal of oxidizing the iron (oxidation) to convert it from a ferrous (dissolved or soluble) to a ferric or undissolved state.The process through which iron is removed from water is known as Oxidation Filtration that involves the oxidation of the soluble forms of iron (Fe) and manganese (Mn) to their soluble forms and then removal by filtration.
