Key Processing Stages
Grading and Cleaning: Raw harvested makhana seeds are sorted by size and cleaned to remove impurities, dust, and broken shells before entering the roasting line.
Continuous Roasting: The system utilizes a rotary drum or conveyor-based roasting chamber equipped with advanced heating elements (electric, gas, or thermal fluid) to roast the makhana evenly. Precise temperature control prevents scorching while achieving the ideal moisture content and crunch.
