Design & CapabilitiesThe defining feature is the throat depth. This determines how large of a return flange you can bend. Purpose: Creating deep channels, boxes, and "C" shapes with long returns. Clearance: The "gooseneck" curve provides the necessary space for the previously bent part of the sheet to move into during the second or third bend. Standard Angles: Typically available in 85°, 88°, and 90° versions. ⚙️ Technical Specifications Material: Usually forged from 42CrMo or En31/ En19 alloy steel. Hardness: Induction hardened to 47–60 HRC for high durability. Clamping Styles: Available in Trumpf/Wila (with safety pins), Amada/European, and American styles.
