Product Details
The Single Door Rotary Barrel Shot Blasting Machine from S.K.Engineering & Shot Blast runs on 240 V and 50 Hz. A fully automatic control system governs every stage of the wheel blasting cycle - the operator only has to load the workpieces and start the program. One front door opens wide - this gives straight access to the barrel for loading plus for unloading once the cycle ends. A high speed impeller throws steel shot against the components - the impact strips scale, rust and old paint but also leaves a uniform, rough, paint ready profile. After fabrication the casing receives a paint coat - this layer shields the steel from shop moisture and limits corrosion. During operation a sound meter at one metre records 65 dB, a level low enough for normal conversation nearby as well as for use in most factories without extra hearing protection. The machine tolerates long, repeated runs - the barrel and the blast wheel remain stable under heavy loads - output stays steady even when batches are large. Because the logic controller handles timing, shot flow or door locks, labour drops and throughput rises. Metal working shops that need repeatable, clean next to correctly profiled surfaces obtain a dependable, high duty shot-blasting tool.
