SS RO PLANT stands for Stainless Steel Institutional Reverse Osmosis Plant. Reverse osmosis, commonly called as hyper-filtration, is the basis of the SS RO System. Chlorine, bacterial assault, manganese, hydrogen sulphide, and iron destroy membranes.Reverse osmosis is one of the modern methods used by the shipping industry to produce fresh water from sea water. This method of water production does not use waste heat source, unlike fresh water generator, to desalinate the sea water to convert it into fresh water with low salt ppm, Two common types of household RO membranes are the Thin Film Composite (TFC or TFM) membrane and the Cellulose Triacetate (CTA) membrane.There are two types of RO plants; one is the domestic RO plant made to suit the needs at a smaller level. The second is the commercial/industrial RO plant made to suit water needs at a more significant level like schools, hospitals, etc.The system uses a 5 stage filtration process which includes a polypropylene sediment filter, granular activated carbon filter, carbon block filter, 0.0001 micron reverse osmosis membrane and a post carbon filter, to provide great tasting bottled-quality water.
