The Carton Taping Machine Side Drive uses belts on the sides to apply tape to boxes in packing stations that require manual assistance. It is powered by 110 - 220 V and uses 200 W of energy to move items at a rate of 20 m/min. In this way the machine maintains an even flow for production lines that process a moderate number of items. For different workspace arrangements, the table height is adjustable between 580 mm and 780 mm. As the external dimensions are 1730 × 950 × (960 - 1550) mm, the unit occupies a specific area while it handles cartons as large as 130 × 120 mm. To accommodate tasks that require more strength, the machine works with tape widths of 48, 60 and 76 mm. Due to its weight of 120 kg, the machine does not move or vibrate during periods of constant activity. When the side drive mechanism operates, it places tape in the same position every time and prevents the tape from feeding incorrectly. By functioning this way, the machine limits the need to fix errors and ensures that packages appear uniform. If a user needs to start the machine or perform repairs, the processes are uncomplicated. And because it is built to be compatible with other systems, the machine connects to existing conveyors to make the packing process faster and the seals more dependable.
