A rice color sorting machine, also named rice colour sorter, separates rice grains according to color differences in raw rice arising from anomalies, SORTEX A. The SORTEX A is an ATEX-compliant optical sorter for sorting grains, coffee, nuts, and plastics. It detects light or dark color defects and foreign materials. It is available in up to 5 chutes and with sorting throughputs of up to 40 tons per hour.They separate items by their colours, detecting the colours of things that pass before them, and use mechanical or pneumatic ejection devices to divert items whose colours do not fall within the acceptable range or which are desired to form a separate group from the rest.The colour sorting machine saves work, saves resources, and provides high efficiency with considerably lower production costs as compared with manual sorting.
