Colour sorting machines are most commonly used in the sorting of agricultural grain and rice, as well as in the processing of food products, such as coffee, nuts and oil crops. The optical sorter separates any stones, mouse droppings and discoloured, toxic or otherwise unacceptable items. is highly technologically advanced sorting machine capable of sorting up to 750 bushels/hr. This color sorter is a great product when precise cleaning is required, especially for food grade products.
Color sorters are mostly used for cleaning wheat, chickpeas, beans, hemp, nuts, tea, rice etc.Colour sorters are used for the food processing industry, such as coffee, nuts, and oil crops. The goal is the separation of items that are discoloured, toxic (such as ergot), not as ripe as required, or still with hull after dehulling such as sunflower seeds.The color sorter are used in the wheat cleaning to remove ergot wheat, black tip, fusarium, burnt, other discolored grains and other inner contaminants.The moment the camera detects any color defects, the camera instructs ejectors fitted in the machine to open the nozzle. The nozzle is connected to valves containing compressed air. This air is then used to shoot out the color defected material from the input rice.
