In a Door Type Vertical Vacuum Packing Machine, the design allows for the vacuum packing of bulk and irregular products in vertical positions for food plus industrial uses. It is constructed with 304 grade stainless steel and uses switchgear from Schneider along with controls that operate based on timers. For different packaging sizes, the VCD 450/550/700 series provides options for seal lengths of 450, 550 or 700 mm but also a seal width of 10 mm. On a power supply of 230 V single phase or 415 V three phase, the machines use motors between 1.2 and 2.2 kW. To ensure that cycles take 20 - 40 seconds and repeat consistently, the pumps have ratings from 16 - 40 m³/hr. As the dimensions are approximately 570 × 550 × 750 mm, the machines take up a small amount of floor space. Due to the model selected, the weight ranges from 100 - 240 kg as well as the structure is rigid and easy to keep clean. By using RR control cabling or an optional second sealing bar, the user can operate the machine easily and increase the amount of product processed. When the machines operate continuously, they increase the time that products stay fresh next to decrease how often packages leak or need repair. And for use in difficult environments, the design ensures that a person can clean and maintain the equipment without difficulty.
