Flexible Shaft Grinding machine is widely used in Fabrication Workshops, Foundries and heavy industries. It is very suitable for heavy and or lengthy jobs where it is not possible to lift the job or get the same close to the grinding machine. Each machine is supplied with a Flexible Shaft and Grinding Wheel.a shaft or shafting made of a flexible material (as wire wrapped around a core in alternately directed layers) or composed of a series of jointed links. : a high-speed rotating shaft so supported in its bearings (as by oil pressure or spring action) that a small lateral movement is possible.Eliminate alignment problems: Flexible shafts have no need for tight tolerances that solid shafts require. Increase design freedom: Infinite possibilities in positioning motor and driven components. Higher efficiency: Flexible shafts are 85-95% efficient. Flexible couplings can handle slightly misaligned shafts. Rigid couplings are torsionally stiff and can't tolerate any misalignment. This applies to both shafts that are physically misaligned at rest and parts that may cause misalignment during operation due to thermal changes.
