Hydro testing machine are common procedure used to check fluid pressure vessel, such as, cylinders, boiler, tubes pipe, valves, castings, components etc.. Hydrostatic testing machine is also a common testing procedure to verify pressure vessels do not leak or have manufacturing flaws.There are three common hydrostatic testing techniques that are used to test small pressure vessels and cylinders: the water jacket method, the direct expansion method, and the proof pressure testing method.There are three types of hydropower facilities: impoundment, diversion, and pumped storage. Some hydropower plants use dams and some do not. Although not all dams were built for hydropower, they have proven useful for pumping tons of renewable energy to the grid.The hydrostatic test pressure at any point in the piping system shall not be less than 1.5 times the design pressure, but shall not exceed the maximum allowable test pressure of any non-isolated component, nor shall it exceed the limits of calculated stresses due to occasional loads.
