The Kirloskar Diesel Generator – CPCB IV+ Optiprime, 2 × 250 kVA is a system that uses two units to provide a total of 500 kVA at 415 V and 50 Hz. In this configuration, each unit provides 250 kVA to support industrial and commercial facilities during power outages. It uses two 6SL90ETA 4G2 engines which produce 310 HP or 200 kW each. By using Optiprime controls, the engines operate in a series arrangement inside a protective enclosure. There is insulation in the enclosure so that the noise level stays at approximately 75 dBA during operation. As the design follows CPCB IV+ emission standards, the system meets current environmental regulations. For its physical structure, the unit is 8500 mm long, 1700 mm wide and 2487 mm high when the silencer is attached. It is built with materials that resist wear and allow the machines to function for long periods without failure. With a dry weight of 8000 kg and a wet weight of 8150 kg, the assembly is heavy and stays in a fixed position. And the system operates with a 0.8 lagging power factor while receiving support from Swastik Power for installation into plant electrical networks.
