The Kirloskar Diesel Generator – CPCB IV+ Optiprime, 2 × 320 kVA is a power system that uses two units to provide a total of 640 kVA. Each unit produces 320 kVA and the system operates at 50 Hz with an output of 415 V plus a lagging power factor of 0.8. As part of this system, two 6SL90ETA 4G3 engines produce 256 kW (380 HP) each - those engines comply with CPCB IV+ emissions standards and they use the Optiprime system to function consistently over long periods. In this configuration, the generator is inside a metal enclosure that reduces sound levels to 75 dBA. Due to its design, the unit measures 8500 mm in length, 1700 mm in width and 2487 mm in height when the silencer is attached. Swastik Power builds the equipment in two versions where the dry weight is 8100 kg but also the wet weight is 8250 kg. With this construction, the system provides steady voltage for essential machinery and factory activities. To make the process simple, engineers designed the unit so that workers can install as well as service it easily. For those reasons, the generator is appropriate for large manufacturing, pharmaceutical and processing facilities that require constant backup power or must follow regulations for emissions control.
