Kirloskar Diesel Generator – CPCB IV+ Optiprime, 2 × 500 kVA consists of two units that together provide 1000 kVA of power. By using two units, the system produces 400 kW of electricity at 415 V and 50 Hz from each unit. In this configuration, the machines use DV8ETA 4G3 engines. For industrial purposes, the generators function during constant operations or as a backup. To save space the units are arranged in a series and measure 11200 mm in length and 2125 mm in width. When the optional silencer is attached, the height is 3655 mm. If the silencer is not attached, the height is 2655 mm. Due to the engineering of the system, the machines comply with CPCB IV+ emissions standards. Each unit generates 608 HP and the power factor is 0.8 lagging so that the electricity remains stable when the load is high. As the supplier plus designer, Swastik Power ensures that the equipment lasts for a long time and is easy to maintain. With a canopy the noise level is 75 dBA. It has a wet weight of 14000 kg and a dry weight of 13786 kg. By using the Opti prime function, the system uses less fuel but also shares the load between the two 500 kVA modules. There are many applications for this system, like in industrial plants, manufacturing units and critical backup power settings.
