The Kirloskar Portable Petrol Generator 5 kW is a machine that provides electricity and is easy to move. It functions because it contains a CCP 389 petrol engine that produces 5 kW or 6.5 kW of prime power when it turns at 3000 RPM for constant operations. By using either an electric starter or a recoil cord, a person can begin its operation. On the electrical side, the output is 230 V and the distortion of the voltage is low at a level of 5 % THD. To ensure the machine starts every time, there is an internal system that keeps the battery charged. As for the exterior, a metal cover that measures 1040 x 550 x 685 mm protects the internal parts. Because the total weight is approximately 150 kg, the unit is stable but remains capable of being transported to different work locations. When the machine runs, the sound level is less than 86 dB(A) LWA. For electrical performance, the power factor is 1.0 and the rated current is 21.74 A. Swastik Power sells this KG4-PP-5AS model for use as a secondary power source. If a user has a small industrial load or a location far from the main power grid, this unit provides an even supply of alternating current.
