Skyhatch PLANEA is a premium aluminium ceiling trap door designed for neat, repeatable access to services above false ceilings. This single-shutter standard-size ceiling access panel provides a clean architectural finish with a minimal shadow groove, making it suitable for commercial, residential, institutional, healthcare, hospitality, and retail interiors. PLANEA replaces conventional wooden fabricated access doors and low-grade modular ceiling panels that may warp, misalign, deteriorate, or appear unfinished over time. Its precision-made aluminium frame and lightweight infill shutter create a durable, low-maintenance access solution for modern gypsum-board ceilings. The ceiling trap door is designed for access to HVAC equipment, fire pipes and valves, sprinkler systems, smoke detectors, electrical junction boxes, plumbing lines, and other concealed MEP services. It is available in standard sizes of 300 x 300 mm, 450 x 450 mm, and 600 x 600 mm. Manufactured using 6063 T6 aluminium alloy, Skyhatch PLANEA can be supplied with MR gypsum board, honeycomb lightweight board, or other compatible infill options. The standard push-lock mechanism enables convenient opening and closing, while an optional Allen-key lock is available where controlled access is required.
