The 15 HP Pulse Jet Dust Collector, For Metal & Mineral Industry is a strong dust filter built for the metal and mineral trade. Mild steel forms the whole frame - the unit keeps working year after year in rough places. A 15 HP motor pushes 1500 cubic feet of air each minute through the machine - the moving air pulls dust out of the workspace and traps it inside. One hundred filter bags cover 100 square feet of cloth - the cloth stops nine out of every ten particles, even specks as small as ten micrometres. The round inlet measures 160 mm across and feeds large dust loads without strain. The motor runs on 380 volts and 50 hertz, draws steady current and keeps power use low. A short blast of compressed air shoots through the bags in turn - the blast knocks the dust cake off the cloth so workers do not open the housing for manual cleaning. The whole unit stands in a small footprint and holds together under inlet speeds that reach 24000 revolutions per minute. Shops that grind, cut or crush heavy materials use the collector to keep the air clear and the workplace safe.
