The 5HP Pulse Jet Dust Collector, For Metal & Mineral Industry pulls dust out of the air in metal and mineral plants. A frame of thick mild steel holds every part - the machine lasts for years even when the work is rough. A 5 HP motor spins at 14 000 RPM plus moves 1 500 cubic feet of air each minute - it keeps the suction steady all day. Eighty filter bags cover 100 square feet of cloth and trap nine out of every ten particles as small as ten microns. Dirty air enters through a 160 mm round port but also leaves the filters clean. A short blast of compressed air shoots through the bags every few seconds - the dust drops off - no one has to open the casing and brush the cloth. The unit runs on 380 volts and 50 hertz, the same power supply found in most factories. One small company has built the same model since 2010 as well as ships it ready for work in metal shops, quarries and mineral plants.
