The MS Portable Dust Collector, For Buffing/ Blending is a strong, simple machine built for buffing and blending work in factories. Mild steel forms the frame - the unit holds up under long hours of use. A 1500 CFM air stream pulls dust away from the worker plus keeps the area clear. A filter layer stops particles as small as 10 - 15 microns and clears about nine tenths of the dust from the air. The motor runs on 380 V, 50 Hz but also comes in sizes from 2 HP to 15 HP - a shop can pick the power that fits the job. The whole box measures one foot by one foot by three feet, sits on a trailer and rolls to any station. Eighty to one hundred filter bags line the inside as well as a 160 mm inlet feeds dusty air into them. The unit suits metal shops, mineral plants and powder-coating lines. An Indian firm that started work in 2010 builds each collector or ships it as a ready-to-use dust extractor.
