DF03 242 / 258 mm Modular Aluminium Door Frame Chowkhat is a deep-jamb, independent load-bearing aluminium door-frame system for thick masonry walls, deep gypsum partitions, modular wall systems, and commercial interior openings. Constructed as an independent chowkhat-style frame, DF03 carries the door load without relying on the surrounding wall or partition. It is suitable for office cabins, meeting rooms, conference rooms, hospitals, clinics, residences, institutional buildings, and thick brick-wall openings. Made from 6063 T6 aluminium alloy, the frame has an 11 mm rebate for proper door seating and double omega EPDM door seals for improved acoustic sealing around the door perimeter. The 242 mm and 258 mm jamb-depth configurations can be increased or reduced in 26 mm modular increments, allowing the frame to match varying wall thicknesses and project requirements. DF03 supports 38 mm to 45 mm thick wooden doors and aluminium stile doors. Compatible hardware includes flush butterfly hinges, concealed hinges, concealed door closers, and surface-mounted door closers. Powder-coated, anodized, dual-colour, and customized finishes are available, including contrasting finishes for the main frame and modular extension sections.
