An Ultrasonic Plastic Welding Machine for Battery is a specialized industrial system designed to weld plastic components used in battery manufacturing, such as battery casings, covers, and terminals. The machine uses high-frequency ultrasonic vibrations combined with pressure to generate frictional heat at the joint surface of plastic parts, causing the material to melt and fuse together to create a strong and leak-proof bond without adhesives or screws.
The system typically consists of an ultrasonic generator, transducer, booster, welding horn, and fixture. The generator converts electrical energy into high-frequency mechanical vibrations, which are transmitted through the horn to the battery components placed in a fixture. When pressure and vibration are applied simultaneously, the plastic surfaces melt and fuse together. After the vibration stops, the material cools under pressure to form a durable weld joint.
Ultrasonic plastic welding machines for batteries usually operate at 15 kHz or 20 kHz frequencies with power ranges around 1500–2600 watts, providing fast cycle times and consistent welding quality for industrial production lines.
